My room | A little peak

Generally I don't like how my room looks because it is quite cluttered but I'll be moving out soon so there isn't much point in redecorating. But I thought I'd show you a few little details of my room, as I have a had a few questions and comments to do a room tour on my YouTube channel. 

1. i-D covers book, Vivienne Westwood book and my black leather portfolio. (Mini Buddha in the background)

2.  Shelf where I keep my jewellery and my most used nail polishes.

3. The top of one of my shelving units. My flower 'L', mini Buddha, pink hearts and my Hello Kitty penny pot (yes I am 17, nearly 18 but I'm obsessed with Hello Kitty and alway have been since I was little) where I keep my coins to save up and I'm currently keeping my savings for my holiday in there. 

4. My bed and oversized flower cushion.

Style | Stripy Tee's

I love stripes! So I thought I would share some of my stripy tee's with you, from winter through til summer I wear stripes all year round and they are so easy to style. Pair these cute tee's with leggings and boots or a bright coloured skirt. You can wear stripes with almost anything.

1 Jack Wills - three quater length sleeves and lose fitting. 

2 H&M - baggy with three quater length sleeves.

3 H&M - tight fitting, long sleeved and scoop neck.

4 American Apparel - short sleeved, tight fitted crop top.

Review | Rimmel Apocalips in Apocaliptic

Everyone has been raving about these babies so obviously I had to get one as well. I picked up the colour Apolcaliptic which is a deep fuchsia pink colour. It's a glossy lip stain but not as sticky and tacky at a lipgloss. The taste/scent is a bit chemically/weird but it's not that bad. I just really love this colour and I definitely want to get some more of these, but I do wish they would come out with some more natural/light colours.  

Review | Revlon Photoready BB Cream

Revlon was the next drugstore brand to bring out the current fad product, BB cream. I have been wanting to try out a tinted moisturiser for when I go on holiday in June that had a high SPF and would be easy to just slap on at the beach etc. I had read/watched reviews about lots of different drugstore BB creams and just wasn't that interested because I usually like a medium to high coverage foundation and was a bit scared of wearing something as sheer as a BB cream. 

But I was in Superdrug the other day and saw a Revlon one, I love the Revlon Colorstay Foundation so I put my faith in Revlon and just bought the BB cream on a whim. I got the shade 010 light, which is the lightest colour out of the three. 

I was pleasantly surprised to see it gave a decent amount of coverage for a BB cream/tinted moisturiser. It has a nice thick creamy consistency that blends out nicely and feels really moisturising. 

It gives a natural glowing look, and with some concealer it gives perfect coverage for my skin at the moment because my skin is fairly clear at the moment *touch wood* but I do have minor scaring on my cheek area which needs concealer. I also love the fact it has a high SPF of 30 because I burn in the sun so easily so I really need high SPF!

I don't take notice of all the claims about what BB creams do for your skin, I just think they are the drugstore version of a tinted moisturiser really because hardly any drugstore brands have tinted moisturisers. They have just re-named them BB creams so everyone buys into the whole fad/idea of it. 

I will definitely be taking this in my suit case for hoilday!

Review | Topshop Lipstick in Tease

I love the Topshop lipsticks so I had to pick up another one the other day. I'm loving pink lipsticks at the moment so I got the shade, Tease which is a cool toned pink with an under tone of lilac. I've really wanted to try out a lilac lipstick but I'm not brave enough so this was a good one to try. 

Topshop lipsticks have a really nice creamy moisturising formula with a matte finish and they smell sort of fruity. Yummy!

Outfit of the day | New jewellery and lipstick

Another outfit of the day for you lovelies! I bought some new lippy and new jewellery yesterday and couldn't wait to wear them today. I couldn't find the necklace online so sorry for that but it should be in store. They will hopefully be featuring in a new recent purchases video in April at some point. So look out for that!

Hello boys and girls, just another outfit of the day for you! I recently bought some more basic cardigans from H&M and I'm in love with this salmony, coraly pink one. I think it's the perfect colour for spring, although spring doesn't seem to be here yet! :(

Lola's outfit pick of the week #1

I'm going to start a new type of post called: Lola's outfit pick of the week, I will obviously try to do one once a week if not I'll do it as often as possible. 

I chose an outfit that would be good for the transition from winter to spring, with muted tones from winter but sandals and a dress for spring. You could add or take away layers for whatever the weather.

New hair

I had a hair cut today and I haven't had one in ages! I got quite a bit off and I really like the change. I wanted a decent amount off because my hair has been through the wars, with bleaching etc and it was really damaged. Now it feels so soft! Yay! I had it done at Toni & Guy which is was a really nice salon and it was just really nice to feel all pampered! 

I thought I would include a photo of my accessories as well because my friend Beth was taking some photos for me. You may have seen the ring in my last few posts which is Primark and my braceletes were in a set from H&M. My jumper is also H&M from a while ago. 

Anyone else had a recent change of hair style? Or maybe thinking about it?

This Weeks Wish List #1

This is my wish list of the week: Laura Mercier Silk Creme foundation £33, Zara Studded Sandal £39.99, AA Nails Glitter in Meteor Shower £9, AA Nails in California Trooper £9, L'Occitane Lavender Pillow Mist £12.50.

I've wanted Silk Creme for ages so I need to get it soon. I love the Zara sandals, they would be great for my holiday in June. I adore the AA nail polishes, Meteor Shower looks like tiny bits of gold foil. These two colours would look beautiful together. Finally I use lavender oil on my pillow every night to make me sleepy, this pillow mist would be a perfect upgrade!
