Beauty | Topshop Lipsticks
This post is just a little rave/rant about how much I love Topshop make up and in particular the lipsticks. I have three colours but I defiantly want them all!
First off I love the packaging, really different and stylish. And they would have to be for Topshop as they are so big on trends and style. I also love the colour range that they do, they are all really pretty colours and you are bound to find one (or several) for your skin tone. I very much love my pinks and nudes at the moment and these colours from Topshop are perfect. The formular is creamy and moisturising but with good colour pay off.
Whimsical is a lovely peachy pink colour which is a great very day colour. Saint is a light pinky nude and I would say this one is more sheer that the other two which are very opaque. Tease is a bluey/violet toned pink which is very vibrant and gives a lovely statement lip.
The only downside to these are that the packaging gets dirty very easily as you can probably tell from the first photo (I bought Saint the other day).
Also I have just discovered they have a new sort of lip product called Lip Bullet, I will definitely be purchasing one (a few) of those.

Review | Sleek Au Naturel Palette
I bought this a little while ago now and I had wanted to get a Sleek palette for some time because they looked such good quality for the price. I've used the MUA palettes quite a lot and I still really love them, this palette is very similar in quality but slightly better I would say. The eyeshadows have good pigmentation especially the sparkly, shimmery ones. I really love the colour range as well, from one extreme to the other, white to black. The top six shades are nice light neutrals and the bottom six are beautiful rich, darker shades. I'm not particularly keen on Honeycomb, Toast or Taupe simply because they have weird orangey/yellow tones to them and just don't look good on my fair complexion. But I do really love Moss, Mineral Earth and Regal. I tend to lean towards deeper shades for some reason.
All in all I love this palette and it's great for creating a range of different looks. The packaging looks and feels high quality, as do the eyeshadows themselves. The price is very good for what you get but if you just want something super cheap I would recommend MUA's palettes. I also want to try more of Sleek's make up as this is my only purchase from them so far. I definitely like the look of their blushes and contour kit!

Style | Neon & Brights
I love the neon trend for spring and I really want to get some bright pieces in time for summer. So I thought I'd pick out a few things that stood out and that I think will look gorgeous for spring/summer. I have this skirt but in different colours, I love them for summer and I definitely want this day glow one. I also have the lipstick, it's such a good colour for statement lips. It's also been said that it is a dupe for MAC's Candy Yum Yum.

Review | L'oreal True Match foundation
I'm always on the hunt for a good drugstore foundation for everyday use and I was starting to feel that my Revlon Colorstay felt a bit heavy for me at the moment.
I was watching a few videos about the L'oreal Lumi foundation and I did like the sound of it but some people were saying it didn't last very long. Then I heard about the True Match foundation which has a natural looking finish, not too matte and not too dewy.
I would say it has medium/buildable coverage and it feels light weight on the skin. It looks very natural and is a good colour match for my skin.
The good thing about these foundations is that they come in an amazing colour range. There are 22 different colours and they are split into groups of different skin tones, N, C and W. These stand for Neutral, Cool and Warm. Then they are also numbered 1 to 9. The system is a little like MAC's way of numbering their foundations. I'm NC 15 in MAC's Studio Sculpt and I'm N1 Ivory in L'oreal's True Match.
I think this it's really good for an affordable foundation to have such a good colour range. If you don't know what your skin tone is it might be good to try the different tones in the number you think you'd be. But you can also visit the L'oreal website and have a 'consultation' (click here). But I think you really need to try the colours on your face to really see what shade you should be.
It's quite a runny, liquidy consistency compared to something like Revlon Colorstay which is much thicker.
My only problem with this foundation is that it can settle into lines and creases in the face. Not a good look! So I try to avoid my 'smile line' area and my under eye area where it tends to crease a bit.
